End of Summer?

I guess summer is coming to a close, school starts this week on Thursday. I will be glad to get back into a routine, but I wish I could just stay home and take care of things here. Lots of things I didn't get done. Oh well there is always next year.

Vacation

Esther and I came home from our "Vacation" yesterday; we got to spend two days in Logan. Lynn couldn't go as usual (cows, you know). We had a couple days of rest and listened to some barbershop music. Of course we stopped at the cookie store and the cheese factory. School starts for me in 11 days, less than 3 weeks for Esther.

Lynn and I decided to drive to Palisades Lake for a picnic and to see how full it is. I tried to get a picture of both of us together , the sun was bright, next time I will just have Lynn take one of me.

After the parade there is stuff in the park. It was pouring, but soon cleared up enough for Esther to perform her dance.

Summer is here!!

Well I am finally done with summer school. The reunion I was in charge of is over, YAY!! and I am recovering from my surgery. So now what do I do? I have 6 weeks until school starts again. I have plans but as you all know "the best laid plans of mice and men..." oh well we'll see what gets done.

Cyst update

They removed a golf-ball sized cyst from my back, I'm feeling ok.

It was hard to get the pizza away from her. Oh well at least she eats.

Tuesday, June 2, I will have the cyst on my back surgically removed. I'm scarred, and have to drive myself up there. Lynn will come when he's done milking, because no one else will milk for him.

Cyst

Well I am surviving, I have discovered that the cyst on my back is a lot bigger than I thought. The Dr. couldn't get it all, so now I get to have surgery, when the infection clears up. Could be next week or in two weeks. I am supposed to start at summer school on June 1st, my surgeon assures me I will only be down a couple of days. I hope so, I want to work to earn money for new carpet.

The Last Dance

I am trying to write every two weeks at least. Life has been busy. One more day of dance and then we are done til fall. Today is Esther's last performance , it will be at a football game, semi-pro. Should be fun to watch.

Esther did a great job at dance recital. Wish you all could have been there. I will try to get a picture put on soon. We watched Sierra and Jada too and they were great also.

This is the payoff for all Esther's hard work. The metal around her neck she earned for winning 2nd place at the concerto competion, The small trophy is her practice trophy for this year, The big bust of Bach is for reaching 1500 points, which took her eight years of festival playing.
